<OPENING CEREMONY>
WELCOME, STUDENTS OF FAR REACH!
Hello everyone, hello! My name is Irix, your resident code jockey and the co-admin of this forum. If you're reading this, that means you've found your way to this wonderful site and all of its potential, and that you may be thinking of joining up with a character of your own.
To that end, I would advise that you go over the guide, located via that amazingly clickable link there, as well as the ever-mentioned rules to ensure you don't accidentally step on any toes. As a pre-emptive strike, I would also like to inform you that the cBox is free to sign up for, courtesy of Chatango, and that Ram and I would be more then happy to resolve any questions you may have.
With all that said, let's get down into the details of what all we're starting out with.
FIRST ITEM, being the stats. Should you not yet have read over the guide, I'll explain them briefly here. STR, known as Strength, is a judge on how physically capable your character is. This determines how hard you're allowed to punch someone. AGI, Agility, determines your speed and reaction times. CON, Constitution, determines how durable you are, as well as how long you can fight before eventually tiring out. Lastly WIS, known as Wisdom, determines how good your character is at determining and tracking objects and movements. A better description for each can probably be found in the guide, but if you wish for a far more in-depth explanation feel free to PM me.
Moving on from the core stats, we have SP. It may not be entirely obvious, and may possibly be a tad confusing, but SP is gained for every 10 stat points you acquire, and the amount is determined based on your stat total. For instance, since a character starts with a base of 3 SP, as well as 45 stat points, they would start with a total of 7 SP. Every set amount afterwards they would gain another SP. So for instance, at 55 total points, you'd have at the very least 8 SP to use.
SECOND ITEM, being the unfortunate Stat Cap that is to be placed on characters as of the current moment. This is to keep people from becoming too powerful too quickly, as even though they're default, the current Royals do have a place and as a result must provide some sort of challenge. As of the time of the site's Grand Opening, the stat cap is 30.
FINAL ITEM, since I've kept you all long enough. There will indeed be an event to celebrate the site releasing to the public, so be on the lookout for that. Rewards for events can be found in the guide, though there may be a small something special due to it being the first event ever to be held on Far Reach.
That looks to be it for now. Please remember this is subject to change based on the decisions of Ram and I, so check back once in a while.
Ciao
